Whitebridge High School offers students the opportunity to participate in 1:1 instrumental and vocal tutoring program. This is open to students interested in studying Music, to support their studies in classroom Music, or as part of our band or choir programs.
Students can elect to have 30 minute private lessons in the following instruments:
- Guitar (Acoustic, Electric, Bass)
- Vocals
- Drums and Percussion
- Piano/Keyboard
- Brass (Trumpet, French Horn, Euphonium, Trombone)
- Woodwind (Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone)
Lessons are conducted during school hours and operate on a rolling timetable. Our peripatetic Music tutors all possess a B. Music, current Working With Children's Check, and several years' experience as professional musicians and tutors.
Lesson fees are negotiated individually through our music tutors, usually ranging within $30-40.
Instruments may be hired through the Creative Industries faculty (where available) for a small fee.
