Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
On behalf of our entire school community, I extend a warm welcome to Whitebridge High School – a place where every student is known, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential.
At Whitebridge High, we pride ourselves on delivering a dynamic and diverse curriculum tailored to meet the interests and aspirations of all students. Our High Potential Gifted Education (HPGE) program is widely celebrated for providing a wealth of stimulating opportunities across all domains of potential that challenge and extend our most capable learners. We are also proud to offer innovative dual credentialing academic and skills pathways through our Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs, enabling students to graduate with nationally recognised qualifications and practical skills highly valued by industry.
Beyond academics, our exceptional wilderness camp programs, aligned with the Duke of Edinburgh Award, cultivate resilience, teamwork, and a deep connection to the natural environment. These experiences develop leadership, personal growth, and a spirit of adventure that enriches the schooling journey and prepares students for life beyond the classroom.
Our dedicated staff work collaboratively with students and families to foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment, nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning. Whether you are a prospective student, parent, or community member, I invite you to explore our website to discover more about these outstanding programs, our achievements, and the opportunities that make Whitebridge High a vibrant and dynamic school community.
Together, we strive for excellence, resilience, and inclusion — through our school values of learning respect and responsibility that guide us as we empower our students to become confident, compassionate, and capable young adults.
Thank you for your interest in Whitebridge High School. We are proud to be the secondary school of choice for the Wiyellai Koa community of schools, and we look forward to partnering with you on this exciting educational journey.
Nadene Harvey, Principal of Whitebridge High School
